Production Manager (m/f/d)
 

Objectives of this role: 

• Production management: ensuring production capacity, monitoring and controlling the production process for quality and on-time delivery. Efficient use of manpower, machines and materials to increase productivity
• Management and employee development: Management, motivation and development of industrial employees as well as foremen and supervisors in coordination with management and HR
• Process optimization and quality control: Ensuring compliance with quality standards and implementing quality control procedures. Optimizing production processes from an economic and quality perspective, including releasing and blocking items. Application of optimization methods (e.g. Kaizen) to continuously improve production
• Safety and environment: Ensuring a safe working environment and implementing safety guidelines. Assume the role of environmental officer and comply with environmental regulations
• Investment proposals and budget management: Responsibility for the production department budget and control of expenditure.  Develop and present investment proposals for production equipment and improvements
• On-time execution and maintenance: Ensuring that the production program is executed on time. Organization of safety inspections and maintenance of production equipment
• Responsibility for buildings and land: Ensure buildings and grounds are in good condition and necessary maintenance is carried out
• Coordination and quality monitoring of production from our other sites: Ensuring smooth processes

Responsibilities:

• Experience in managing production departments in a medium-sized company or a comparable environment
• Strong knowledge of process optimization, e.g. in the Kaizen method
• Excellent leadership skills with a proven track record of successful team leadership
• Understanding of occupational safety and experience in implementing safety measures
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work with different departments
• Experience in budget management and resource optimization
• High level of initiative, problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Technical understanding in the areas of logistics, prefabrication, assembly and electrical workshop
• Business fluent in English
• Experience in the processing of stainless steels and welding technology
