Sales Manager for machines and systems in the pharmaceutical industry (m/f/d) 

Objectives of this role:

  • Competitive granulation technology and services relating to granulation technology and systems, as well as coating systems in the pharmaceutical, cosmetics and food supplement sectors 
  • Sales of pharmaceutical systems and management of the representative network (worldwide)
  • Independent support of our national and international customers
  • Providing technical advice to customers, preparing and following up on quotations and negotiating the commercial framework conditions up to the conclusion of the contract
  • Structured sales processes with Salesforce as CRM system
  • Expansion of activities within the pharmaceutical/granulation technology sector with a focus on increasing sales and gaining market share
  • Targeted acquisition of new customers and their expert support
  • Continuous market and competition analysis as well as sales planning based on the preparation of regular sales forecasts
  • Support with marketing activities, conducting webinars and participating in trade fairs with the aim of customer acquisition.


Responsibilities:

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, preferably in the field of machinery and equipment, is a prerequisite 
  • Education ideally in the field of mechanical engineering, pharmaceutical technology, process engineering, chemical engineering or a comparable field of study
  • Sales experience in a B2B environment 
  • Business fluent in written and spoken English, further foreign language skills are an advantage (Spanish, Portuguese, French, Italian)
  • Confidence in initiating new business relationships at decision-maker level
  • Sensitivity to customer needs and solution-oriented way of thinking
  • Strong communication, organizational and assertiveness skills as well as hands-on mentality and striving for sustainable business success
  • Strong willingness to travel at home and abroad
  • Confident handling of standard software (IT affinity) and CRM software
