Sales Manager (m/f/d)



Objectives of this role:

  • Develop, implement and monitor a comprehensive sales strategy for machinery in the food sector and related industries in close coordination with the Director Sales and Marketing to effectively achieve company goals.
  • Responsibility for managing and developing a team of approximately 10 employees worldwide to ensure optimal performance and collaboration.
  • Establish and maintain long-term customer relationships through personal support, individual needs analysis and customized solution presentations.
  • Continuously monitor and analyze the market to identify trends, leverage competitive advantages and strengthen the company's market position in the food and related industries.
  • Effective leadership and development of the sales team to achieve high performance and motivate the team.
  • Work closely with the Director Sales and Marketing and other relevant departments to ensure a seamless flow of information and optimize collaboration.



  • Completed studies in the field of industrial engineering or a comparable qualification.
  • Many years of experience in machine sales, ideally in the food industry or related sectors.
  • Proven success in leading sales teams and successfully implementing sales strategies.
  • Methodological skills in sales planning, management and optimization to ensure effective sales processes and drive continuous improvement.
  • Convincing appearance as well as strong communication skills, negotiating skills and assertiveness.
  • High willingness to travel both at home and abroad.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
  • Strong strategic thinking and the ability to develop and pursue long-term sales targets.
  • Experience in analyzing market trends, customer needs and competitive landscapes to derive recommendations for action.
  • Strong entrepreneurial thinking and the ability to develop innovative sales approaches to gain competitive advantage.
  • Experience in using CRM systems and other sales tools to efficiently organize and manage sales activities.
  • Team orientation and the ability to build and lead a motivated and high-performing sales team.
